1. About These Terms

These terms govern your use of Knottd, an AI-powered wedding planning app operated by A Million Monkeys Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By using Knottd, you agree to these terms.

If you don't agree, please don't use the service. It's that simple.

2. What Knottd Does

Knottd provides an AI wedding planning assistant ("Franck") that helps you plan your wedding. This includes:

• Conversational wedding planning advice
• Supplier research and recommendations
• Sending emails to suppliers on your behalf
• Budget tracking and timeline management
• Wedding checklist and task management
• Research reports with supplier details

3. Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Knottd. You sign in using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding. The quality of the planning advice depends on the information you share.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

Knottd offers a free tier with limited functionality: 30 messages per month, 2 research reports, and no email capabilities. No payment details are required.

Paid Plans

Paid plans (Basic and Premium) are available as monthly or annual subscriptions, purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play. All payments are processed through the respective app store — we do not handle your payment details directly.

Pricing

• Free: £0/month — 30 messages, 2 reports
• Basic: £19.99/month or £179.99/year — 200 messages, 10 reports, email
• Premium: £34.99/month or £279.99/year — 1,000 messages, 30 reports, email

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store or Google Play. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods — refund requests should be directed to Apple or Google as appropriate.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

5. AI-Generated Content

Franck is an AI assistant. While we work hard to make the advice helpful and accurate, you should understand that:

• AI can make mistakes. Supplier information, pricing, availability, and recommendations may be inaccurate or outdated. Always verify important details directly with suppliers.
• It's not professional advice. Knottd does not replace a licensed wedding planner, financial adviser, or legal professional.
• Supplier research is informational. We research publicly available information about suppliers. Inclusion in research results is not an endorsement.
• Emails sent on your behalf are generated by AI based on your instructions. You should review the content of any emails before asking Franck to send them. Once sent, emails cannot be unsent.

6. Emails Sent on Your Behalf

Knottd can send emails to wedding suppliers on your behalf using a dedicated email address (e.g., franck-your-name@mail.getknottd.com). By using this feature, you:

• Authorise us to send emails on your behalf to suppliers you specify or that Franck recommends
• Understand that supplier replies are routed back to your AI planner and visible in the app
• Accept responsibility for the content of emails you instruct Franck to send

We will never send spam, marketing emails, or unsolicited bulk communications through your Knottd email address.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Knottd for any purpose other than personal wedding planning
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
• Use the email feature to send spam, abusive messages, or anything unrelated to wedding planning
• Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or manipulate the system

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Your Data

Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

In summary: we use your data to provide the service, we don't sell it, and you can request deletion at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

The Knottd app, brand, and underlying technology are owned by A Million Monkeys Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service.

Content generated by Franck for you (research reports, emails, checklists) is yours to use for your personal wedding planning. We retain no ownership over your wedding planning content.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep Knottd available 24/7, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to perform maintenance, and third-party services we depend on may experience outages.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Knottd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any decisions you make based on AI-generated advice
• We are not liable for any issues arising from communications with suppliers
• Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Account Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@getknottd.com. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
